Change / Otherside is a double a-side and the first release from Keto, a four-piece Nottingham band fronted by Leah Sinead. Both tracks are atmospheric slow-burners that reveal new depths with each listen.

On Change, piano trills add notes of hope and optimism to the track’s stately, uneasy progress, playfully opposing the gathering storm of the string section, and filling in the oppressive percussive gaps. Barely upping the pace, Otherside lets flute-like keyboards play beautiful counterpoint, this time responding to the alt-guitar and Sinead’s firm but vulnerable vocals.
