Swiss Lips - Books
Manchester-based electro-pop band Swiss Lips are back with a new single, Books.
While I can’t condone the literal sentiment behind the chorus of Books (“Set fire to the books that you read”) under any circumstances, I am right behind the intense electropop sounds, huge synths and beats, and a youthful tearing down of walls.
It’s about being young and confused by the world around you, smashing things up and starting again…
Books is out today (23rd February) via Foreverever / BMG Chrysalis. Swiss Lips’ self-titled debut album is out in March.
