Canberra’s Slow Turismo are an indie-pop / indie-rock band with an ear for the hook, and if Corners is anything to go by, not afraid to mix it up a bit, here throwing satisfyingly echoey 80s drums in with the guitars. They also know how to build a song up from the bottom, starting small and letting it grow. Corners does it with quiet confidence; by the end you’ll have all sorts of snippets of its melodies flowing through your head.
