As already well documented around these parts, anticipation at Record Rewind Play HQ is high, and only increasing as the release date approaches for Conversations, the debut album by Woman’s Hour. With a month and a half or so to go until the July 21st release, the group have released a video for the title track.

Taking inspiration from choreographer Trisha Brown’s dance piece Group Primary Accumulation (1973), the video sees the group performing a series of movements in sync, accumulating steps and introducing new movements with each cycle.

In their own words the video involved spending a day “in a cold, empty warehouse lying on our backs”. They suffer, so you don’t have to: feel free to relax in your comfiest chair, slippers on, as you watch the video and soak up the smooth soulful sound.
