Strange Ways comes with NSFW and parental warning lyrics and an animated video featuring Vladimir Putin and lead singer Dragut Lugalzagosi. And why not, eh? It starts out all rich vocals and strong bass, and ends up all sweet harmonies and brass.

Copenhagen’s The Great Dictators formed in the summer of 2011, releasing three EPs the following year. Using instruments like the saw, banjo, autoharp, mandolin and accordion, in combination with deep and distinctive vocals, soon got the band noticed on Danish radio and beyond. Strange Ways is the first single from Killers, their forthcoming second album.
