SILVR seems to be one of those mystery acts about whom not much is known. All we can say for sure is that after last year’s cover of the Phil Collins chocolate-flogging, big-drum-booming hit In The Air Tonight, Dark is the first original release for the LA-based artist. And it’s a pretty lush start: mid-tempo and very smooth, with soft, high vocals played off against rumbling electro-bass. And yes, in the absence of any artist bio I’ll say anything, frankly, to fill a few column inches. Damn good track, mind, and we hope to hear more like this in future.
