Clear Water is the new single from Danny & The Champions Of The World. Taken from their fifth album, What Kind of Love, it’s a celebration of love fuelled by horns, slide guitar, solos, and a hip-swaying, finger-snapping, hand-clapping chorus complete with backing vocals that somehow add even more joy and happiness to an already unrepentantly upbeat track.

Every song on the album is a love-song of some fashion. These are love songs about friends, about ex-friends, about wives… all different kinds of love. Also, the title made me think of some mythical jazz or soul record – you could totally imagine an album on Blue Note called What Kind Of Love.Danny Wilson
