Formed in late 2014, Chaika are a garage/psych four-piece from Leeds who’ve been gaining themselves something of a reputation as a force to be reckoned with on the live scene. The Mirror is their second release, following the two-track cassette release of Scream Back/Coming Home and White Hare last year.

The Mirror is backed with Untied; both tracks were recorded with Leeds producer Matt Peel (Eagulls, Pulled Apart By Horses, Autobahn) earlier this year and will be self-released in the form of two unique prints by artist Ollie Skully with an accompanied corresponding digital download code. These prints will be available at their upcoming gigs and through the band’s website from 9th October onwards.

The Mirror, b/w Untied, is out on October 9th.

Chaika play the Beacons Metro; DIY Presents gig at Headrow House on 16th October. You can also see them at The Castle Hotel, Manchester on 9th October and The Polar Bear, Hull on 20th October.
