Attic Fowler is the solo project of Milwaukee guitarist Chris Rutledge, whose “terrestrial river-soul” is a breezy road-trip through mountain country. Bradford Beach is the sound of a hazy, psychedelia-tinged dream, with a wobbly piano break and jangling guitar that hands over to a surprisingly meaty solo. It’s pretty magnificent, and even at this early stage a strong contender for our favourite song of the week.

Attic Fowler’s second album, City Hall, will be released by Fall Break on April 14th.
