Spotify’s first recommendation for related music when Luna starts up is both predictable and accurate: Spanish Sahara by Foals. After years and albums of making wholesale changes to their sound, Bombay Bicycle Club seem to have finally hit upon a winning formula, and if they weren’t the first to the pole, who cares?

Luna is nothing less than sparkly and wonderful: if at first it seems run-of-the-mill perky, it picks up with the very Friendly Fires chorus lead-in, before being launched skywards off the back of wonderful additional vocals from Rae Morris, and sends us home happy with some buzzing guitar in the outro.
