Terrain is a new single from Albany, NY duo Titanics. It’s a sublime slice of something hovering gently at the intersection of electropop and indie-pop. Or, as the band themselves say, “tranquilpop”. Easing your ears into the gentle strains of Terrain, and its dulcet guitar patterns and Mark Lombardo’s falsetto, all wrapped in soft synths, you’ll probably agree it’s an apt description: even more so when it comes to the single’s other track, the super-chilled instrumental Pressure / Fade.
