Neil Halstead might be busy reacquainting himself with the Slowdive back catalogue, but that hasn’t stopped the Slowdive, Mojave 3 and solo performer from getting together with his fellow Back Hearted Brothers Mark Van Hoen and Nick Holton to release new material. The EP features one new song Don’t Take The Weight, together with an edited version of Got Your Love from last year’s Stars are our Home album. Two remixes of Got Your Love round off the EP.

Got Your Love is an ocean of fuzzy guitars tempered by occasional electronic dots and dashes set above Halstead’s calm vocal, all of which results in a surprisingly poppy cut. Listen to it on Soundcloud before the EP’s release on March 31st.
